    dog allergies

  • Dog allergies are a hypersensitivity to exposure of a harmless substance. There is a wide variety of allergies dogs can suffer from. While they typically become visible through skin conditions, there are a number of other symptoms and warning signs to look for.

    sneezing

  • Make a sudden involuntary expulsion of air from the nose and mouth due to irritation of one’s nostrils
  • sneeze: a symptom consisting of the involuntary expulsion of air from the nose
  • (sneeze) exhale spasmodically, as when an irritant entered one’s nose; “Pepper makes me sneeze”
  • A sneeze (or sternutation) is a semi-autonomous, convulsive expulsion of air from the lungs through the nose and mouth, usually caused by foreign particles irritating the nasal mucosa.

Heidi at vet

Heidi at vet
She had to visit the vet and this photo is by camera phone. I did not intend to take any pictures, but in waiting room there were cans of food for dogs which I had not seen before.

They included venison, rabbit and… duck.

I have a special ‘thing’ about ducks right now. Thus I took photo of the boxes, and of poor, nervous Heidi.

She has reversed sneezing syndrome.

She has to take some allergy pills now to see if that helps.

buddy got into something that caused a major allergic reaction in his sniffer. his nose was all swollen and he had sneezes and watery eyes. the vet gave him a "stinger" (shot) and told him "daddy will take you to burger king to get some chicken tenders". (our vet is a huge 6’6" mustachioed man who talks baby talk ALL the time, obvs i love him!)
